Additional activity: Consider taking a wonderful cruise before the reunion. Dutch Apple Cruise Company, which is located at 141 Broadway (corner of Broadway and Quay Streets) in downtown Albany has a cruise on the Hudson River. It boards at 12: 30 and the ship leaves the dock at 1:00. The first 45 minutes are narrated, second 45 minutes are left for you to enjoy the scenery and visit There is a snack bar on board with beverages and food. (Since COVID, no outside food or beverage is allowed, not even water. I was told free ice water is available.)
The cost for the tour is $22 for seniors over 65 if you buy your ticket online and $25 if you buy it on the day of the cruise. It was suggested by the owner to buy your tickets at least a week in advance and no later than 48 hours before the cruise because they often sell out if it's predicted to be a beautiful day and the fall foliage is looking good. The cruise sails rain or shine so they do not cancel for inclement weather. They have three decks and two of them are enclosed. You can buy walk-up tickets if they are available.
